This Tennsco's newest welded bookcase offers a unique 18" depth and 36" width that allows a wide range of materials to be stored safely. The deeper depth allows for larger materials such as oversized ledgers and legal documents.

18" Deep Welded Bookcase - 55" High - BC18-52 features:

• Welded for Durability: Spot welded for maximum strength and rigidity, providing years of heavy use.
• Maximum Rigidity: Shelves have multiple bends at the front for additional strength.
• Smooth, Clean Lines: Welded construction requires no fasteners, providing a clean professional appearance. Unit tops have no overhang, so side-to-side units will fit flush together.
• Adjustable Shelves: Shelves adjust vertically without tools in 2 5 / 64 " increments. A narrow profile is ideal for books and standard sized binders.
• Raised Bottom: Has a 1 1 / 2 " raised base which keeps materials safe from damaging cleaners.
• Integrated Shelf Support Tabs: Built-in shelf support tabs mean no clips to lose and documents will not slip through cracks.
•  Shelf Capacity: 13 1 / 2 " shelf supports up to 130 lbs. per shelf.
• Material: Welded Bookcases, as well as all Tennsco Products, are fabricated of high quality, cold-rolled carbon steel, free of scale or rust, and
• fully pickled. Exposed edges, corners, and surface areas are free of sharp edges and all workmanship is of the highest quality as measured by the industry.
• Finish: All steel components shall be thoroughly cleaned and phosphatized for rust resistance in a five-stage pre-treatment process. A high grade of polyester/epoxy powder paint is to be applied electrostatically with a gloss reading of between 55 and 65. The finish shall have a salt spray rating of 250 hours or more.
• Sides: Sides are formed from 24 gauge steel and have 25 / 32 ” 90-degree flanges on the bottom. The sides have a 90-degree flange on the back for strength and an offset on the front to allow the side to fit flush with the header and sill. Each side has dog-ear strips to secure the shelves in place and allow for shelf adjustability on 2” centers.
• Back: The backs are formed using 24 gauge steel and have a 7 / 8 ” flange on the bottom. The back is inserted to a fixture and spot welded to the inside flange of the sides, top, and bottom shelf of the units for strength and durability.
• Top: Tops are formed using 22 gauge steel and have 1- 11 /1 6 ” box formation on the front and 15 / 16 ” 90-degree flange on the back and sides. The top has the manufacturer’s nameplate on the front of the box formation.
• Sill: The sill is 20 gauge steel formed into a 4” wide and 1 3 / 32 ” deep “C” channel formation having a 47 / 64 ” angle formation off the top leg of the sill.
• Bottom: Bottoms are formed using 20 gauge steel and have a 1 7 / 32 ” 90-degree flange on all sides.
• Shelves: The shelves are formed using 20 gauge steel and have 3 /4 ” 90-degree flange on the sides and rear. The front of the shelf has a 3 / 4 ”
• box formation for added strength. The shelf hooks into the dog ear lances on the sides and back and are adjustable on 2” centers.
