The Sharp XEA507 comes with a dual station thermal printer and does not require any type of ink ribbon or cartridge therefore the average life of the printer is approximately 6 million lines.
The Sharp XEA507 comes with a power-saving mode that saves energy and bills. When you want to save the electric power or save the display’s life, use the screen save function. The XE-A507 offers screen saver functionality that turns off the display and the LCD backlight when any clerk does not operate the register for an extended period of time. You can program the time for which your register should keep the normal status (in which the backlight is “ONâ€) before it goes into the screen save mode. This Sharp cash register enters the screen save mode two minutes later by default.
The Sharp XE-A507 also features an error state function that is accompanied by a warning beep and the error message on the display to provide secure and error free sales transactions, which are then stored in Sharp XEA507 journal for analysis.
The XE-A507 comes pre-programmed with Department entries, for easy merchandise classification.
